Kaiser Family Update

Hi all,

The Kaiser's have been very busy for the last two years. Here are a few highlights:

JAROM

Jarom is on the left, with his cousin Gavin at the Fire Dept

Jarom is currently in 5th grade. Can you Believe it!?! He has been on the honor roll for his entire time in elementary school. He has grown quite a bit. He is currently a Webelos Scout. He loves being in scouts and doing activities. As you can see, Jarom and the family love to go to Disneyland.

Jarom is looking forward to going to Middle School next year. We are not!

REBEKAH

Rebekah has grown so much over the last two years, both in stature and in the gospel. She left the battle grounds of middle school and started high school this year. She made the Varsity Tennis Team as a Freshman, the only to do so at her school. She also received her Varsity Letter in Tennis. She is currently playing basketball on the freshman team. She is the leading scorer, rebounder and defender on her team. The team is really young and inexperienced, but having a lot of fun! She is also the Freshman class ASB vice-president.

Rebekah finished middle school on the honor roll. She graduated as part of the top of her class. She is an excellent student, and daughter.

JACOB

Jacob is really busy as he finishes his senior year of high school. He has accomplished a lot over the last two years. Here are the details:
Senior Class ASB President
Varsity Tennis Doubles MVP 2012
Varsity Water Polo Team Captain, MVP, 1st Team all-league, 2nd Team all CIF. Lead team into the playoffs, where they finished in the Quarterfinal round against the eventual CIF champs. It was a great season for him. He lead the team in goals, steals, prevented goals and was second in assists. It was the best as a parent, as I coached Jacob for four years of water polo. I am also his tennis coach, and we are looking forward to his last season of high school tennis in the spring.

He is currently the 1st assistant to the Bishop in our Ward. He has been attending missionary prep with his sister McKenzie. This has been an exciting time, as the age for missionary service has changed. This has lead to some changes in our plans for the next few years.

Jacob is also part of the award winning Production Management Team at Lakeside High School. This production team, along with the drama dept, are the three time defending California Educational
Theater Awards, Regional Champions (CETA, equivalent to winning CIF in athletics).

They will be competing for the state title, on Jan 18th, 2013, at Los Osos High School. I have the pleasure of being the tech teacher at LHS.

MCKENZIE

Kenzie is on the fast and furious path to serving her mission. Her paperwork is currently in Salt Lake, and we are anxiously waiting for their return.

Kenzie has also be busy over the last two years. She graduated from Lakeside, and was named student of the Month for May 2011. She started college at RCC, playing water polo. Unfortunately, she was thrown from a horse and injured her arm, thus ending her polo and swimming career. Two surgeries later (one of them was Tommy John Surgery), she is almost able to completely use her arm.

She is currently working hard and preparing for serving the Lord. She is also doing missionary prep with her brother. It is really cool to see them doing the same prep classes. It is also crazy to think that they will be serving at the same time. More info to follow, when her call comes.

NOELLE

Noelle continues to keep the home running and the kids going.

She is working hard to help Jacob finish his senior year. Her plans are to go to school after Jacob graduates in May. She currently teaches the 12-13 year olds in sunday school, which is rewarding and trying at times, they are 12.

Noelle spends time at Jarom's school helping in his class. She also spends a lot of time at LHS. She is currently the Assistant Senior Class Advisor. This and many other activities at school keep her there more often than not.

JASON

Jason is also very busy as he continues to run the theater, coach water polo and tennis, and he is also the Senior class Advisor. As you can imagine, this is a lot of work. He just stepped down from Girl's Polo after 12 years. This is a welcome break, as he can now spend time working with Bekah on basketball and going to watch her games.

Jason was named the Lake Elsinore USD teacher of the year for 2012. It was a neat moment, as it shows how good he is at teaching and mentoring students in the tech arts and in preparing for life.

Jason is also the teacher and mentor of the Production Management Team that recently won it's third CETA regional championship. He will lead a team of 20 technicians in January, in hopes of winning the state title.

THE FAMILY

The Kaiser's are doing well and keeping it busy. The best part is that we are all healthy and strong in the testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season, and a blessed new year.
